Pierre Ouelette
Pierre Ouellette brings an exceptional diversity of experience to the practice of public relations as a creative discipline. After a successful career as a freelance writer/producer for TV, radio and print, Pierre became a founding partner in KVO, Inc., a high-tech advertising and public relations firm that grew to over 100 employees. While serving as Director of Creative Services at KVO, he was responsible for numerous award-winning advertising and public relations projects in print, video and multimedia. With the formation of KVO Public Relations, Pierre responsibilities grew to include strategic message development as well as creative execution.
Earlier in his career, he was a professional guitarist, and played with Paul Revere and the Raiders, among other groups. This experience led to his induction into the Northwest Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, and he is still active as a musician and composer.
He has also published two novels, The Deus Machine (Villard Books, 1994), and The Third Pandemic (Simon & Schuster, 1996), which have appeared in both hardcover and paperback, with The Deus Machine under development in Hollywood as a major motion picture.
Pierre also serves as a director on the boards of the Portland Creative Conference and Imago Theater. He has a wife, four sons, several guitars and a Labrador Retriever roughly the size of Godzilla.
